About Space Inventors
Space Inventors was founded by Colleen Warmingham to help people create the
perfect space to support their personal and professional endeavors. Space
Inventors helps clients get organized, reduce stress, and unleash their
creative energy.
- We are a member of Co-Op America, economic action for a just planet. In July 2006, Space Inventors successfully passed Co-Op America's screening process to be approved as a green business. We are the first organizer in Pennsylvania and only the third organizer in North America to be listed in the National Green Pages.
- We are a proud founding member of the new Sustainable Business Network of the Lehigh Valley.
About Colleen
Colleen Warmingham is a professional organizer, workshop facilitator,
and the owner of Space Inventors. Anyone can learn to be organized! In
fact, when working with a client, Colleen focuses just as much on teaching
as she does on organizing. "My happiest day is when a client tells me he or
she doesn't need me anymore," she says. "That means I've been an effective
coach."
Colleen graduated from Moravian College with a B.A. in History. She finds that studying history was the perfect foundation for organizing. After all, history teaches us to understand cause and effect in our lives; a critical step in understanding how we relate to our space and how our space affects how we work and feel. After college, Colleen worked as a consultant, instructor, project manager, and even tour guide before launching Space Inventors.
Colleen championed eco- and people-friendly organizing at the 2006 conference of the National Association of Professional Organizers in Boston. Her work in gathering low-impact organizers together has forged such initiatives as the creation of a national online group for simple and sustainable organizing techniques and adding low-impact organizing to the 2007 national conference agenda.
Today, Colleen serves on the membership committee of the Sustainable Business Network of the Lehigh Valley and is the volunteer coordinator for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She considers simple and sustainable values to be important ethical considerations when working with clients and administering her business.
